YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP WORKSHOPS

Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Authentic Direction (LEAD Scholars)

The LEAD Scholars Program is a weekend or week-long workshop for students from either Middle School, High School or Collegiate levels. The Program offers young leaders the opportunity to learn more about the following principles:

  • Lessons in Leadership
  • Entrepreneurial Traits and Opportunities
  • Small Business Ethics
  • Civic Responsibility
  • Developing Integrity and Character
  • Combining Passion with Discipline

Structure

The LEAD Scholars Program is offered in several different structures, depending upon the needs of your community:

  • 15 Hour intensive Weekend Workshops (available year-round and work well with school calendars)
  • 25 to 30 Hour Weeklong Camps (typically offered during Summer of Spring Breaks)

Covering the Cost?

LEAD presents a number of opportunities for both community leaders and the students to get involved in covering the associated expenses:

  • Community organizations can provide individual scholarships (Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Kiwanis, School Board, etc.)
  • Students can take on the challenge of raising the money themselves through entrepreneurial means or traditional fund-raising
  • Try a little of both! Encourage students to raise half of the money and then use community organizations to match the other half
